Q: What do you do when your home leaves you?

alonesomes:

Take yourself by the shoulders. Look yourself in the eyes. Speak gently and firmly. Say “HOME IS IN YOU. NO ONE CAN TAKE IT WITH THEM. YOU HAVE THE GENTLE HANDS. YOU SAY WHEN. YOU SAY STAY.”

As a californian “you guys” is a pretty standard part if my vocabulary and “guys” has always been gender neutral for me but I realized that it might not be for everyone else so I started saying “y’all” in an attempt to get rid of gendered language and I just feel like a cowboy
